Pro tools tone change
Okay, so I'm running my 7 string ibanez through M-audio profire 610 interface into Pro Tools DAW... One thing I notice is that whenever my guitar is running through pro tools there's a distinct change in the overall tone it just happens when a track is armed to record, it plays back it it's normal tone but when it's recording... It's almost like a choppy sound or like an extra reverb it's interesting but it doesn't happen on playback so I guess it isn't a real problem just something I noticed and was curious about, thanks.

Re: Pro tools tone change
You try to pull the fader of the armed track down in PT while recording,
for you use the direkt through of you mbox (mix pot) and get the buffered signal from the software monitoring as well. If you turn the fader down in PT while recording you only get the direkt siognal and should be free of the extra delay Basstian |
