Default send quicktime to another room?

I've never had to deal with this before. It's a last minute type thing, and I'm really not set up for this stuff. I need to record a band where they track to a quicktime video (and audio feed). My first thought is to feed the drum and vocal rooms with the audio feed as the click track essentially. They track to it, and if they line up their performances, it should match the video ok.

BUT

Is there any easy non-mega $$$$$ to feed them the Quicktime video with my standard Mac Pro 8 core outs (I think mine has 2 DVI outs). I know I can send a DVI cable to an LCD in another room. But I'm not sure a 40 ft DVI signal would look like anything.

Anyone else have any easy suggestions?

Hi,

You can just show the quicktime on one of the LCD's connected to your mac. i have this with cable length of 30ft no problem so can't imagine a good quality mon cable of 40ft plus would be a problem. you could get a monitor splitter and have several lcd's showing the quicktime. a good quality splitter would boost the signal as well so you could probably have 100ft cables. i have seen this done many time on live conference gigs.
