mbox 2 pro and a thank you to digidesign
Hi all ! I just upgraded to an mbox pro 2, after 3 years of struggling with my old usb mbox it is a welcome change. I also upgraded to a new imac, everything seems to be working so much smoother. although I am a little disappointed I can still tax my processors at times. I like ozone software and I know they can take a toll but I thought the duo 2.4. ghz would be able to handle it more than it does. my initial feeling is that I get a better response by using one processor at %99 than using 2 processors. I have no idea why that is but it seems to work the best for me. but i digress.....
I want to thank digidesign for sending me an amnesty upgrade to 7.4 !! pro-tools is great now if I can just get my processors to handle all those izotope plug-ins i like
