MOTU 1224
Can I upgrade my sytem from an AMIII PT4.3 and use the new MOTU 1224 interface and get 8 tracks of audio in and out of my software and take full advantage of the word clock?

Re: MOTU 1224
I don't know if anyone has one of those yet outside of MOTU, I know we don't. I also don't know if it works as a standalone A/D converter. That would be a question you should ask MOTU.
In any case you would still need a Digidesign Audio Interface of some kind to get the audio into a Digi system that allows 8 simultaneous I/O. (Project, Project II, Pro Tools III, Pro Tools|24 systems) Bruce Technical Marketing
