Openning Sessions EXTREMELY slow
I wrote a post on this when I thought the sessions weren't opening at all. I have been patient and now see that they do open, but they take an extreley long time, as much as 2 minutes for a session that is virtually empty.
Any ideas or threads on this? |

Re: Openning Sessions EXTREMELY slow
Tell us about your system, which OS, CPU, hard drive manufacturer, model, how they're formatted... which version of Pro Tools.. Which Digi hardware?

Re: Openning Sessions EXTREMELY slow
Copy the session to your internal drive, unmount the extrnal drive.. and open the session. Does it open any faster from the internal drive?
