But, I believe you can have only one cloud session open in a single iLok account at the same time. So you will need to have at least one physical iLok if you want to have two Pro Tools licenses activated at the same time in the same iLok account.

I don't know why you would want to put two auths on one computer, but it can be done. Usually people ask if one license can have auth on two computers.

But safest would be moving unused license to iLok account itself, where it can be authorised elsewhere.

Thanks, I asked about organising 2 pro tools activations on two different iLoks both the same account. The idea is to have the current (2023.3) perpetual licence along with some other third party plugins licenses on one iLok and to move the "older" Pro Tools license to another iLok I have in the same account.

Sensible idea A few more details:
1-one account can have several PT licenses(I have a friend who's account shows dozens).
2-you can use multiple iLoks from one or several accounts on the same computer(my partner and I share some plugins that allow 2 licenses by each having an iLok from the other's account).
3-YMMV, but I would reserve cloud licensing for emergency situations as it can be a bit unreliable, and a total PITA if you forget to end a cloud session and need to use an iLok(like for when you won't have internet).
4-I highly recommend ZDT coverage, even if its only for 1 iLok(the one that holds your most important licenses), and I also recommend keeping at least 1 spare iLok on hand(better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it)
