Default Pro Tools and "other" Data File placement

Hi.. I know the importance of running Pro Tools Session files on an external drive however, is it ok to store that folder along with other data folders and files (Spectrasonics STEAM, KONTAKT, Sample Libraries) on the same drive?

IME it's not the best way. With drives so inexpensive it's best to have dedicated drives for sample/vi libraries and one for session audio IMO.
