Default Latency with 003

I know there is probably an easy solution for this, but I just can't figure it out. How do I get rid of the latency when recording instruments or vocals through the 003? It's pretty bad and I have no clue. Thanks.

Hi,

Read up on Latency in the manual, and you'll find two ways:

Lower H/W buffer size in the Playback Engine under "setup" menu. This will lower latency and allow use of the plug-ins on the track, but will not completely remove all latency.

Use "low latency monitoring" under "options" menu. This is real close, but will mute the plug-ins (a cause of latency).

Good luck, study that manual!

Tony
