1/4" vs. xlr in's on 002r

hello:

is there a great deal of differance in quality btwn the 1/4"
& the xlr in's on a 002r??

there is no differance if the signal is already entering the cable
with a 1/4" correct?

my board sends with 1/4"..

if your connecting from your board 1/4 is fine but test / read yuour boards manual to find its out put level

and adjust pro tools inputs 3-8 accordingly in hardware setup

your 1/4" is your line in............ and XLR is your mic in.

There's no difference. The TRS input will not drive phantom to a condensor mic, only the XLR will do that.
