Well first off - the G5 case mod is not for everyone - it's more cutting and hassle than most care for (me myself included) but if u can work a jigsaw and don't mind spending several hours doing it - u can get cases on eBay Craigslist and goodwill for that matter

- I was thinking about selling mine and starting over

I just purchased an HD3 Accel PCIe system with PT HD9 for $2400.00. I thought it was a good price. Those who undervalue their systems will sale low. Avid hopes we all trade everything in. I would say buy other converters like from Apogee, then you will only have to upgrade your cards if you wanted to.
