Key Shortcut to Open Plug-in Windows
Hi all,
I've searched the duc, online in general and the Avid shortcut PDF, but I can't find what I'm looking for. With a track selected, the only way I know of to bring up a plug-in window is the click on the inserted plug-in area of the track. I'd like to be able to use my cursor keys to select a track (in either the edit or mix window) and once the track is selected, use a key shortcut to bring up the inserted plug-in. I know that often there are a number of plug-ins for the track, but I'll cross that bridge when (if?) I come to it. Best regards, Bob Charest

Re: Key Shortcut to Open Plug-in Windows
I had done that and also Keyboard Maestro before posting on the duc. I haven’t yet seen how I could use Soundflow to do what I want, but I’ve just started. Thanks for the suggestion! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Re: Key Shortcut to Open Plug-in Windows
Eucon can do it.
You wouldn't be able to use a keyboard key but any tablet/smart phone could do it (Avid Control is free for iOS and Android)

Re: Key Shortcut to Open Plug-in Windows
Soundflow can do what you described 100%
They have macros already built to do that. I use Keyboard Maestro and EuControl. If I had not already written so many macros, I'd use Soundflow. Any macro can be assigned to key(s) with either KM or Soundflow. But an iPad or Stream Deck is a great setup too. |

Good idea - Thanks! I’ve got Avid Control on my iPad Pro and was reading today how well it works with Logic and Cubase too. I’m hoping to implement my StreamDeck XL for Pro Tools much like what Euan Smith did with Logic & Spitfire Audio for articulations, mainly. I just watched a Soundflow tutorial YouTube video entitled “Mouse Click Relative to UI Element” which has got me going in the right direction. Learning curve ahead! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
