I keep a list of them on my website.

I'm not sure what you mean by a plugin mixer.

That's not "mixer" that's EQ. While typically and technically part of a hardware mixer, it is generally referred to separately as the "EQ section".

So, the 1, 4 , and 7 band EQ3 that is included with Pro Tools isn't doing it for you? It's installed with the program, and does exactly what you're asking about.

EQII is included too, and it does exactly the same thing, it just doesn't have the pretty graphics.

The Massey vt3 EQ that is listed on the page that I linked you to may be the closest thing to what you are thinking of; hardware knobs... Bass, Mid and Treble.

If those aren't what you are looking for then try one of the channel strip plugins; there are quite a few, but none of them that I would consider inexpensive.

Waves SSL Channel $1000

URS Classic Console Strip $250

McDSP Channel G $999

Wave Arts Track Plug $200

Focusrite Forte Suite $595

Sony Oxford EQ

Hundreds of others...
