Default A couple of hot key questions...

I have lots and lots of tracks in my template...scroll is become very tedious. Is it possible to set up memory locators in the edit or mix window so tracks 1-12 can show up with a key command....then I enter another key command and it goes to 120-132?

Also is it possible to record enable the track below or above the currently selected track with a key command?

Thank you!

Not sure about the record enable question although I don't think it's possible. You can definitely set up Memory Locations to Show/Hide tracks. Look under the Windows menu in PT. If you're on a Mac, you can hit Command+5. If you set up a Memory Location for the number 1, you would hit on the numeric keypad period-1-period to access that location, whether it's a marker, track view, windows configuration etc...

I'd rather not show/hide, I rather just automatically scroll down through the tracks to a particular section of my template. This isn't possible?

I use mix/edit groups to move around. If you click on the group ID in the groups list, the members of that group will be selected. I often follow that up with Ctrl+Command+Up arrow, and selected tracks will fit to window.

IHTH.

No, not the way you're describing.

Sounds good.

PT lover that sounds good I'll try that.

One last thing lets say I selected a certain track in the Edit window and want to get to it really fast in the mix window. What is the hot key for that?

I saw it in the key commands PDF 1 time and now can't find it.

Ctrl+Shift-click the track name to select it. That will place it at the top of the edit window, and all the way to the left of the mix window.
