LIVE special offer for PT owners ! except...

I want to purchase LIVE using the special offer on the Ableton site >> http://www.ableton.com/index.php?mai...=live21ptoffer

BUT, the field for the PT serial number does not accomodate the length of my serial number.
Unless I am doing something completely wrong...
My serial nyumber is DIGI0600 64280079 23XXXXe
This will not fit in the serial number field.
Is there a differnet serial number that I should be using?

Try entering it without the spaces.. perhaps they don't want them.

Can't help you.. send them an email.. I'm pretty surprised that anyone can just ask you for your serial/authorization number.. sounds like anyone could create a bogus web site and harvest serial numbers.

So basically Live is an "Acid" type program that can be controlled by a midi controller or whatever. If you can record stuff to it, how to you get the sounds there? Via a MOTU type interface? This is what pisses me off about Digi. You have to use THEIR interface, and it can't be used for anything else either. Drag. Anyway, if I were into chopping up loops, Live would be the ONLY way to go. Maybe one day. But doesn't Reason kinda do the same thing with loops?
