white noise when playbacking with DIGIoo2R

hello,
i recorded a few songs with my digi002 and during the mix - many plugins running - almost 50% of the times i located the startpoint of playback in the middle of a song it just came white noise. that was very uncompfortale, i had to turn down the headphone-volume erveytime i pressed play.
when i tried different positions to playback and found one, where no white noise happened - then there was never white noise from that startpoint. i could start and start again from that point.
there was also trouble, when i used fade-ins and outs.

If you are using Waves plugins with the 4.0 waveshell that may be your problem.
Go to the Waves site and download the waveshell that replaces and fixes the problem.

i dont use waves plugins.
what else might be the problem?

Were u getting a sudden gain increase as well, like at a volume that rips your head off? I was but only since using the +12 dB option session setup using PT 6.4, but having no problem when using +6 dB. Could be related or maybe too many plugins, don't know.
