I like the IK Multimedia Total Studio Max bundle, too.

Unisum compressor is fantastic! Installed smoothly and easily, features are good! Moreover, you can adjust the KNEE, just superb!
And I now have a license for MDWEQ6 The Professional EQ Tool. With that, I need to deal with its iLock a bit more.
But it seems like a great plugin once I get it up and running.
I wish everyone that Santa Claus brings thoughtful and considerate gifts (plugins )!

The two Massenburg plugins and Seventh Heaven Professional are on my list, got most everything else. I used to master vinyl when I was a young man. I bought Samplitude Pro x8 Suite for $199 pre Black Friday and installed a fresh copy of Win 11 Pro and all my plugins/VIs. I’ve had a Behringer X-Touch I got before my D-Command, it integrates pretty well over ethernet in MCU mode. All told it’s pretty deep and comes with a lot of stuff including Sound Forge Pro 16 and Steinberg SpectraLayers Pro 10 and a ton of VIs. Still got PT Ultimate on my Mac and using the HD Thunderbolt Native for an interface with both systems. Found out Samplitude is EUCON enabled so I see some S1s and a Dock in my future. I’m also playing with a small network including an i7 loaded with VEPro and some UAD1 cards along with an older Dell running XP Pro and a big Gigastudio 3 system with bunches of instruments and interfaced via ADAT Lightpipe & MIDI. I don’t get rid of anything much, always a need for some electronic gizmo to repurpose. Somewheres I have some old 32bit VIs that were pretty cool and amazingly Samplitude has a builtin bridge for them. I’m far from done here.

The plugins "I must have" are MDWDRC2.
I now agree that it is incredibly good! My teacher said Golden words, that you must have many good things, then you can vary according to the situation.

The MDWDMC2 itself can vary according to the situation, quite well. I'm not one to believe that there's a do-it-all compressor, but if I had to have only two it would be one of them.

I missed this thread the first time around, but this is obviously the correct answer to the OP question.

There are none. There's always an alternative, another way. The plugins I love the most are just cos I know them well and they reliably work for me. If they disappeared overnight I'd find others.

There is no spoon.

That's the one plugin that i haven't regretted paying in full for. Worth every penny, just buy it, i have it on every track whether i need it or not.

Oh I did. Nice plugin, great UI. I'll be buying more of their stuff.
