Default ToolBox 2.0 on G3 with Ultra SCSI2 internal boot?

With the earlier ToolBox packages, the main reason for opting for G3 machines with internal ATA boot drives was because of the Pace copy protection issue.

Now that ToolBox 2.0 no longer uses any copy protection scheme whatsoever for the bundled ProTools, D-Fi & D-fx plug-ins, won't any G3 or G4 machines with whatever internal boot drive work?

If not, why?
