I think the only way to answer this is to suggest that you try the demo and see if you like the way it sounds. It's completely a subjective test; if it "works" for you, then it works for vocals. It's a top notch reverb, and I'm sure has been used for just about every imaginable application.

Hi.

I'v used both Valhalla Room (reverb) and ValhallaÜberMod (delay) quite a bit with Pro Tools 10. Mostly for vocals.

I think they both sound great. Room is huge sounding compared to the stock PT plugins. I have not used them much for sound FX, but I think that would be their strong point.

I'm just waiting for them to become AAX so I can use them in PT11.
Meanwhile I can get some nice sounding reverb with the Air Reverb plugin.

If you have not tried it yet, try creating two mono aux'es and pan each left/right. Then put AirReverb on each and select different presets (or make your own) on each channel. Personally I pull down the aux faders to -9db but you could experiment. Then input a send from you vocal tracks and send it to the two aux reverb you just created.

I think you can get a pretty nice and huge reverb this way.

I can only imagine how huge it might sound with two instances of Valhalla Room instead.
