Control 24 and Digi002R Connection
I just bought a Control 24. I am attempting to get it running with my Digi002Rack. The Ctl24 is connected to my ethernet port and shows up in my network connections (IP 169.254.68.252) using DNS. The Ctl24 display is "Offline". I have done a SysReset on the Ctl24. I have tried crossover and straight cat5 cables, with a hub and direct . On the peripherals:Ethernet Controllers tab: Protools will scan (either eithernet port EN0, EN1). I have checked enable and scanned both ports. It shows no connected devices - as if the Ctl24 is not connected. Anyone have any suggestions.
Thanks much Jim Dugan |

Re: Control 24 and Digi002R Connection
Depending on whether your on a Mac or a PC makes a huge difference.
On a Mac it's a no brainer you just select it in the Peripherals palette and go under ethernet controllers. But on a PC you have to go to you OS networking palette and select the correct driver and then install it only then can you access it in the peripherals palette. |
