Slow network drive and Workspace access
Hi. I'm working on a remote site to our mothership.
When I login to the remote network [which is really slow,] Pro tools beach balls a lot. I cannot unmount/eject the drive from Pro tools workspaces in V11 (that I can see). Is there any way of keeping a drive mounted in OSX but ignored in PT11? Thanks for any help. MrC |

Re: Slow network drive and Workspace access
I don't believe you can just have PT ignore a drive. You would have to unmount it in finder, which isn't what you wanted :-(

Re: Slow network drive and Workspace access
I don't know but check the PT workspace and set the slow drive to "T" (transfer) mode. If it's not a record volume nor a playback volume, it *MIGHT* help.
