Artist Mix - Are faders accurate enough to control plugins?

Hello there!

First post, so please, hit me hard.

I have an Artist Control V2 for quite some time now. But, as many others reports, i never felt in love with the encoders.
After researching, I'm considering to buy an Artist Mix in order to use it in flip mode to adjust plugin parameters, bypassing those knobs. Of course i will not complain in have 8 more faders to mix...

My question is for anyone who has experience with both units: how much better is controlling plugin parameters (an eq freq sweep for example) with the faders? Are they accurate enough? Is this a significant performance improvement that would justify the investment?

I also read the thread you recommended and vote.

But technicalities apart, in a user's point of view, are you really satisfied in operate plugins with the faders? Would you personally recommend the investment for that task?
Sorry for bother you again, but i live in Brazil, and i'd have to pay 100% of taxes to import the unit, so i really need to be sure about that.
