Black Friday deal: new subs or also renewals?

Just wondering if the current 20% off Black Friday offer includes renewals or is it only for new subscriptions?

Clearly states subscriptions and there's no such thing as a "renewal" for a subscription -- it's just another year of subscription.
So if you are trying to apply it to another year of subscription, go for it.

For a renewal, you should check with your local or online retailer (and your Avid account). From the Black Friday promo page on the individual promos:

• Is your current subscription expiring? Renew it in your Avid Account or from a reseller
• Own a Pro Tools Ultimate perpetual license? Renew your 1-Year Software Updates + Support Plan or get current here
• Want to buy a new perpetual license for Pro Tools Ultimate? Find a reseller
