How to clear (reset) timecode input
If i've been using my system locked to a DA98 then go back to editing, the system still retains the last timecode input. This creates a problem when using the up arrow as the timeline will jump to that retained timecode instead of the start of the selected region.
So does anyone know how to clear the timecode input? Turning the tape machine off has no effect. thanks, jim HD2 Sync I/O 192 I/O 7.2cs2 |

Re: How to clear (reset) timecode input
If you switch device on the first page of the peripherals menu to 'generic MTC reader' it goes back to zero, but of course you are now running off internal sync

Re: How to clear (reset) timecode input
Well that doesn't quit work. When you toggle it back in it still has the timecode location in memory.
But power cycling the SYNC I/O does reset it. To be safe I toggled it off as you suggested first. Thanks for the idea. |
