Upgrading from m box to 003 rack factory..

Currently running m box 2 w PT 8 and music prod toolkit 2, auto tune. I just purchased 003 rack factory and was wondering if I must un install my PT 8 and m box before I install the 003, as it comes with its own PT 8 software.? Will I have to un install the mus prod tool kit and the auto tune and then re install? Also I have an existing i lok for my plug ins and digi virtual inst, and the 003 gives you another, can they be put together or will I always need to use both.Thanks for all your assistance...Bill

nope, just plug the 003 in and go. you should already have the driver installed. If running windows 7 64 bit then you will need to download the 64 bit driver.

Depending on what auths are on the second ilok, you can use both. But you may not need too if the same licences are on your 1st iLok.

To be honest, you probably wont use them. But if you really want them, you go into your protools disc> Additional Files> Factory Bundle Installers> 003 factory PFP Bundle Setup.

You can move Ilok licenses from one to the other in your own account. You might want to consolidate them to one and save the extra to use for demo licenses, etc. Or if you ever buy Waves stuff, it's a good idea to have a separate Ilok for their licenses.

As for the factory plugins, you're better off downloading the plugins from the Digi website, as those would be the latest versions.
