Waves plugins either crash or pop up w. grey whole screen

Hi!
I am a new PT user. I installed my software according to every essential step. Afterwards, I started to install my plugins which I have always used with Cubase before one by one. I selected to install RTAS versions to specified default folders every time. By the way I have really been accustomed with Program Files/Common Files/Digidesign/DAE/Plugins folder where every *.dpm & *.rsr file of installed plugins is located to be able to run the plugins with PT. To make it short, I have done anything including PT and plugin updates (especially waves) for PT M-Powered 7.3.1. When I try to open Waves C1 or L2 Ultramaximizer as an insert plug in, there is no problem. However, when I try L3 Ultramaximizer or L3 Multimaximizer, RComp, PAZ Analyzer and some others, I get a whole grey plugin screen instead of that nice software plugin window and ofcourse there is no change with my channel settings. And in addition, when I try to insert C4 Multiband Processor or Linear Phase Multi, PT crashes so that I have to restart it to make it work again.

My PC: AMD Athlon 3200+ 2 GHz, 2Gb RAM, Windows XP Service Pack 2

Could anyone please give me a discrete solution? Or should I forget using Waves Bundles with my M-Powered not get insane? Thank you!

you need to upgrade to the latest version of waves.
they charge $$$ to do that now too.
IMHO, i would recommend that you get a UAD-1.

I did the PT7 update which is provided from the site www.waves.com. Nothing changed.

Has no one all over the world encountered with the same problem about waves? I have gone insane with this. Please help!

What numeric version of the waves plugins are you using?

I would think you may have better luck with a solution by contacting waves tech support, especially since you paid so much for them.
