Yeah thats a pretty ghetto booth!
I'd keep the reflexion filter. I originally decided against the RF and made some proper acoustic panels. That improved the sound, however it still wasn't right. I then bought an RF and it makes my sound that much better. Since your a small setup, look into investing into sound panels instead...you'll end up with a nice sounding room for vocals and mixing, plus it wont look so ghetto. Keep the RF...its a useful studio tool!
