Avid Annual Upgrade and Support Plan

I just got a Universal Audio Apollo 8 that came with a FREE Fast Track Solo / Pro Tools Express / iLok with an Avid Annual Upgrade and Support Plan.

They say that this upgrade path is PT full version 10 / 11 and 12.

My questions are:

1: Is this true?
2: Does this expire 1/16 and do I keep released versions up until that point?
3: Can I use this upgrade after 1/16 and get updates till 1/17?

I don't know exactly WHAT you have, but I can say that the upgrade path you describe is real.

You should activate by the end of the year simply because Avid is changing prices in 2016, and you want to make sure everything goes through ok. I have no idea if you could wait an extra 2, 3, 10 months. But if it were me, I would activate now.

With a perpetual license and support plan you will KEEP Pro Tools 12 and all updates that are released through your year of support. If you wish to continue getting updates, then you need to re-up your plan. But your current version will still work at the last version you qualified for.
