Default Discovery M+E question (help making tapes today)

When I make my MONO dialog track for the M+E split out. Should I sum the stereo Dialog to a mono track (thus making it 3db hotter on that track) or should I just record one side of the Dialog so that it fits with in the Discovery tech specs on that one mono track?

I would think that I sum so that when it plays back left and right its the correct level.

thanks

The specs are included with the DCI deliverable requirements your producer should have given you.
Along with the Dolby LM100 QC you need to run before shipping the Digibeta.
