Qn RE: Enermax fan in Allen Stein Desktop DAW
Hey there.
Built an Allen Stein Desktop system a few months back. I've noticed that the recommended Enermax fan has two fans -- one on the inside blowing air around inside, and the other on outside by the power switch. I've also noticed that while the inside one spins, the outside one doesn't. I've gone into the BIOS and monitored temperatures and I think they're OK... My question is for other people with AllenStein DAWs with the option Enermax fan: When you look at the power supply, is that little fan spinning? Or is it designed to kick in only when it gets super hot? Or what?? Help/Tips much appreciated. Tom. |

There should be a fan speed knob to adjust the speed of the rear fan.
