Default Apple G5 with PCI Exp. Chassi?

Is there anyone out there using a PCI exp. chassi (with PT-cards) connected to an Apple G5?

If so, what kind of chassi are you using? (32-64 bit? Megaherz? Number of slots? Brand?)

We've had some trouble with this combination and it would be interested if anyone could share some experience.

regards,

Johan

Johan, Just got a new G5 and I'm still using my Digi branded (Magma) 32-bit 7-slot Exp Chassis with HD3 cards (HD Core + 2 HD process cards). So far, everything is working fine.

Spankin' new Digi 64-bit. Works like a charm. See this thread for more details.

You can find compatibility information for supported PCI expansion chassis here:
http://www.digidesign.com/compato/osx/hd/expand.cfm

That list applies to Pro Tools 6.7 through 6.9.2.

Hmm...thanks for your answers!

Might not be the chassi at all actually...we tried exchanging all process-cards and core-card (in sheer frustration)..seems to be running fine now. Strangely enough, Digi Test cleared all our cards, so we just didn't think that was the problem...

Hopefully there's is now an end to all the problems, knock wood...
