2 simple questions... brain fart

hey all,
i just downloaded pt8, so i'm starting fresh and have forgotten some of the set-up/preference procedures and locations.

1. how can i see MORE grid lines? i see the grid lines, but they're too broad. i want to get in deeper. presently, i can only grab a measure of 4. i would like to get in as tight as possible, ie., tight enough to see any individual kick/snare/hat and move it accordingly to the grid.

2. my light meters on the mixing board faders are peaking at +12db and not at 0db. can someone please remind me how to set fader peak at 0db?

1-zoom in and change the grid value from quarter note(the default) to eighth or sixteenth note.
