Default Pro Tools 7.1.1 + 2.33 MBP + Mbox2 = missing plug-ins

Here is what I am running:

New MackBook Pro with
Mbox 2 (not pro, just regular, bought about a year and a half ago)
2.33 Dual Core
2 GB RAM
OS X version 10.4.9 (updated with "combo" updater as well)
Pro Tools 7.1.1cs2

So I installed Pro Tools 7 from the disc. Updated OS X with the combo installer. Then updated to 7.1.1cs2.

THE ONLY problem I am having is some of my plug-ins aren't showing up at all in Audio Suite. When I go to my plug-ins folder in the Library, it has the plug-ins folder (such as bombfactory, etc), but nothing is inside the folder.

So, I tried to manually install each plug-in from the Pro Tools 7 CD under "Plug-Ins Installers." I get this error message:

"Error Creating Folder" ---> "1008:9,-5000 Access Denied Error" ---> "You do not have enough priveledges for this installation"

I am the only owner and user of this computer and I have administrative rights.

What should I do? I'm confused on this one!

Thanks in advance guys. I really appreciate it.

P.S. I tried re-installing Pro Tools 7 to get the plug-ins but it didn't work.

You need to download and install the INTEL compatible versions of those plug-ins from our website.

DigiTechSpt,

Do you have a link to the page where I can find the intel/PT 7 plug-ins? The free ones that usually come with pro tools.
