Default Key command to name adjacent regions in PT8?

Does anyone know the key command to name adjacent regions on a single track without having to close the naming window. I want to name regions similar to the way I can name tracks(Command+ Right/left arrow). I swear I saw someone use this command, but I'm pretty sure he was using 7.4; definitely not PT8. I can't remember or figure it out

P.S - Im pretty sure it's not in the key commands guide - if it is please lead me to it because I can't find it there.

Thanks

1.) Select region
2.) Cmd + Shift + R
3.) Rename Region
4.) Enter / Return
5.) Ctrl Tab
Continue with steps 2.) - 5.)

Basically you need the shortcut for renaming (Cmd+[bleep][bleep][bleep][bleep]+R) and the shortcut for selecting the next region (Cntrl + Tab)
Obviously selecting the previous region is Ctrl + Option + Tab.
If you need to move around in the edit window, use following shortcuts:
P - move up
; - move down

Hope this helps,
Timothy

Thanks but that's not really the answer I'm looking for. I've been using the workflow you explained but I'm try to avoid the steps of hitting enter >hitting ctrl tab>then hitting Cmd + Shift + R for each region i want to name on the track. I once saw someone avoid these steps- They hit cmd + shift +r, named a region and insted of hitting enter, they hit a key command that let the name the next region on the track. It was amazing....

Thanks though

try selecting multiple regions, and hitting command shift r.

this will jump through all the regions

only drag is i'm not sure how it determines the order. it doesn't seem to be timeline position.

edit: The order it cycles follows your region bin sorting.

Excellent!

Definitely will use that way of renaming. Why the heck I never tried this before I don't know?

Cheers,
Timothy
