Default Pro Tool First Crashes Due To Date Change.

Kind of weird. All was working well with Pro Tools First. I logged into my computer (Mac) one day and noticed the date was off. I reset the date and later in the week could not start pro tools. I tried to uninstall and reinstall - did not work. I started to think about the date so I figured I would set the date back to the future and it started up and all worked. I set the date back to the actual time and pro tools would not start, I get the splash screen for a second and gone. I'd hate to have to keep messing with the date to use Pro Tools.

Thanks for the reply.

specs:
mac-mini late 2014
2.6 GHz i5
8 GB memory
Yosemite 10.10.5

Also, after setting time back everything else has been fine and time is spot on.
It's a new mac and possibly the time was off after setup.

Well, any help would be great. I'm still having issues even after installing the latest ver. 12.2.

All software on my computer works, other than pro tools??? Obviously there must be a file planted somewhere that has a timestamp.

This is a bummer! I tried pro tools years ago on a friend's system and thought it was great. Didn't like having to by an ilok to try it more recently and thought pro tools first would be a good way to test drive it before buying. Ain't going so well!

Can't seem to find support without $$.
