Bull. Apple lists SSD options for all size iMacs on both their USA Website and Apple Store app. Even apparently the lowest end 21.5" ~$1K iMac, although that tops out at a 256GB SSD for $200. These are configure to purchase options.

Apple is a leader in the adoption of PCIe/NVMe SSD technology they are not going to give that option up... and certainly not for crappy Fusion performance.

The most important spec (IMO) is whether that Apple flash storage is PCI-express connected or not. This lowly 1TB flash storage of mine (late-2013) has 1GB/sec transfer speed and the newer ones are even faster.

Wrong. Have you looked at the page I linked to and the screenshot I posted?

Nevermind. You had to select in order to change pieces.

Here is the configurated page of the Mac for you :

https://www.apple.com/shop/buy-mac/i...A&step=config#

i7 CPU
16GB RAM
512GB Flash storage

Under 3000 dollars for a high end imac

Not trying to be mean but what is a "lowly" anything? Do you mean lovely as I read it as lowly i.e low spec.

It has lovely transfer speed, but capacity could have been larger :)

As I said, Apple had the option of a single SSD in main disk. This option is no longer available.

How many times do you have to be told you are wrong? Have you looked at the pages both Christopher and I linked to that show you can have either an ssd OR a Fusion drive in an iMac? What is your source for saying the ssd is no longer available?

I am sorry. I do not know if there are multiple sites, Canadian, American, etc., but I could have the option 2 hours ago. I confirm that she is there. Sorry again.

We gave you links to the site - did you check them? I doubt there's separate sites for each country - Christopher and I have the same link and we're in two different countries.
