Default Unable to install Plugin-ins via Application Manager

I have just installed Pro Tools on my system (macOS Sierra - Subscription version 12.8.1)

It's my first time using the Avid Application Manager and when trying to install the Avid plug-ins I get the following text...

Failed Install: First AIR Effects Bundle install failed. This installation already started.

It's been like this for the whole day, I've tried closing the manager and logging in again to no avail.
I know it's possible to download them straight from avid and install manually but is there anyone that might have a fix for this?

Thanks for reading.

Most people end up dumping the Application Manager and doing things the manual way.

Have you tried rebooting?

Wow, as obvious as that was, would you believe I hadn't tried rebooting. After the PT12 reboot I just never thought of it. Thanks for the help!

Reboots can solve a lot of computer problems. Sometimes you have to do what I call a 'cold reboot' where the computer and peripherals are completely shut down and restart from there.

What version of AppMan are you using? I had problems with 17.8.0 but updating to 17.9.0 fixed the quirks
