Default Pro Tools 12 HD can't see my xpand!2

I've recently encountered an issue with my AIR xpand!2 plugin. Previously I'd been using FL Studio 12 and xpand!2 worked properly, but in Pro Tools whenever I create a new instrument track the DAW seems not to see it at all in my instrument plugins when I try to insert it. What can I do about it? I tried reinstalling the plugin but it didn't help. I also tried to use the TransVST app to see if it was converted to aax but it didn't see it either. neither does it see my midi controller, nor any other plugins besides Kontakt, but that's a different story. Any ideas what can I do to make it work somehow?

P.S. my OS is windows 10 64 bit. Please forgive me for my lack of knowledge, however I'm not a music production pro yet and I'm completely new in Pro Tools.
