negative tracks?? how??
Does anybody know how to make negative tracks? for example, after track 2 on a cd, it goes to track 3, but the time is -30, and it counts up to 0, and there is music for those 30 seconds, but then the track really begins. please tell me how to do this. thanks.

Re: negative tracks?? how??
Just use authoring software that lets you manualy insert track start and end times (CD Architect / Vegas on a PC)...
...anything on the timeline between the end marker for track2 and the start (marker) of track 3 will display as a countdown to track 3 - so to get 30 seconds countdown either move the audio and the marker back along the timeline by 30s or just move the marker if you want music to be playing during the countdown (selecting track3 will jump straight to the inpoint, obviously). These index markers (PQ list/codes) are independent of the audio. I think you'll probably have to write the CD "disk at once" instead of "Track at once" for it to work. |
