Default CPU TEMP

What is the standard CPUtemp for a P111 800E? I am overclocking it fo 896 and it funs much better. The CPU temp. with Pro Tools and AOL together playing with 14 tracks w/effects 44C/111F. Is that a acceptable rang? Where can I get info on this? My MB is ASUS P3BF.
ANY COMMENTS WILL BE HELPFUL. I am not shouting just forgot the cap lock was on. Maybe you could help without judging.
THANKS.

Intel lists the max temp at 45c.
I oc my 800EB to 900 and the temp rides along smoothly at 37c with a GoldenGlobe. I get 19 tracks on the DaveC test...
Are you reading that temp from BIOS? They tend to run a bit high. Try a utility like Sandra. Still, you should really try and get that temp down a bit... different CPU fan or add another case fan. Don't want to burn it down.

Of course, I do not condone overclocking...

Thanks for your responce. That really helps me out. What type of fan would you suggest? my system is:
Intel PIII-800E / Asus p3bf 440bx768MB Max AGP4X ATA/100
512megs @100mhz SDRAM
Seagate 20GB, 7200rpm, UDMA-ATA IDE HD for (OS & Pro Tools)
IBM U2W Ultra-2-Wide SCSI HD 7200 18GB LVK #DPSS-318350
SCSI-HD Adaptec 29160 U160-SCSI
CD DVD Toshiba 12X
HP 9430i 10x4x32 CD-RW

It never quite reaches 45C but it is close.
