D control setup revisited ...

Hey everyone,

I know there's been a few topics on this already but since I recently changed mine over I though I'd make a post about it to see what others are doing these days ...


I'm talking about setting up D control with 32 fader or more setups.

And what I wanna know is wether you set it up 'split' with the main unit in the middle or 32 faders on one side.


I recently (yesterday actually ... ) changed from split to 32 left.

Curious about how others went and if they have stuck to it or changed over time.

Setup my 32 fader D-Control as split and have left it ever since. It just seems to make more sense ergonomically. And I like having two different kinds of custom faders on each side of the master unit - how does that work with all the faders to one side?

We're split and have been from day 1, but at times I have lusted for 32 faders all in a row without a big jump in the middle.
So Chris, how does the 32 left feel? Is it doing your head in?
