Any way to convert AU > RTAS via wrapper?

I have an AU/Logic only plug and would love to keep mixing in PT. Are there any new 'wrappers' out that can make this happen

Maybe I didn't look close enough, but that looks like AU to VST, not AU to RTAS. Check out reaper. If the audio was in reaper, you could process with your AU plug in, and rewire into PT.

Not saying theres not a product out there, just that I don't know of it.

Curious what plugin this is? most au's have a vst version too.

If it does not have a VST version, rewiring reaper is probably the only way.

Hi,

All Logic proprietary plugs i guess! as they don't have VST versions.

Only way is to process in logic. but maybe link to pro tools with another sound card and the midi can be routed via the IAC bus. I do this for some VI's in Logic

No you are right.

Apple won't allow AU to be wrapped.

Yeah Tom, you're right, had it backwards, glasses on now...

NI's Kore 2 (Software) will do this, however some Logic plug-ins are Logic only and not open AU's. Most AU's have a VST counterpart as mentioned above.
BTW, Kore 2 controller-driver is still 32 bit only if you on a new Mac.
VST wrapper needs a bit of vitalization as I seem to get at least on crash/per session when utilizing instruments like Real guitar.

Bidule (Licensed) for VST then VST wrapper is another awkward solution.

Easier to print from logic and move on.

Any rewire solution is oneway only so FX plug-ins are out.

Now that I re-read this, DetroitT is right... Most of the stock logic plugins like space designer, etc. are actually a closed format and can only be accessed from inside Logic. The only ones you can open in other programs are at the bottom of the list under "audio units"
