Pro Tools suddenly opens in older version

Hmm. I've been running v7.4 happily for years. Today, I opened Pro Tools and there was a problem with the 003 rack (which has happened before) where the interface restarts itself while Pro Tools is opening and then I get a message saying Pro Tools can't communicate with the interface. Normally, I quit Pro Tools and restart the interface again and everything is cool. Today, though, after going through this process all my sessions now open in v7.3.1. I tried saving a copy in the latest version, but got the same problem. I tried opening a new session--still v7.3.1. I tried opening a recent session backup file, but still, same problem. Any ideas?

(I'm running Pro Tools LE on Mac OS 10.4.11)

Check your default.
Go to your session folder -> select the ".ptf" session file -> Rt click & select "Get Info" -> the 4th drop-down tab should read "Open With" -> This will be your default application for opening a file.

You can change it here as well...

The only option I see here is Pro Tools LE (default), which was already selected.

Are you able to reload 7.4?
