Default Video Editor\'s Guidlines?

I remember seeing a post a while back. It had a link to what was basicaly a list of how audio post people want to see things as they travel down the line from the editors. This paper was extremely informitive and I wanted to show a few editors of mine who are in need of some reminders. Any help would be great. I've searched the forum with no luck.

Thanks

M

Sorry, first of all, don't know how to get a link of a thread (how do you guys do that, by the way?)

Search in: Post & Surround
Keywords: "Video Editors Rant" (don't forget the quotations as that narrows down the search to that peticular phrase)
where: in subject
newer than: 5 months (as it was beginning this year!)

Hope this is what you were looking for!

Tim

you find your page with your browser, copy the whole address, then, down in the instant UBB code below this box when you post is a "URL" line. click on that. it pulls up a box. copy your address into that and then it brings up another box and you can name the link.

like this: like this thread

does someone have a super secret better way?

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but maybe it is relevant.

Thanks minister.

Just managed to do it, but now I have the same problem as before. My url never changes (no matter where I am within digidesign), it always says www.digidesign.com (do you know how I can see the correct url)

Just a sec a go, it showed the url, and now it doesn't. What have I done to make it show up?

I'm using Safari on mac - but IE doesn't seem to be any help either?

Thanks for your help and, sorry, as this has nothing to do with the main question!

hmm dunno exactly. i am using safari. do you copy the WHOLE address?

this one looks like this:

http://duc.digidesign.com/newreply.p...art=1&vc=1&q=1

that is what gets pasted into the URL window.

Once I followed your link minister - the url started showing up properly again! Still don't know why it doesn't to start off with!

Huh? Are you reprinting it? I don't mind, I'm just curious.

Haven't thought about it, I was probably just going to send them the link. A hard copy might drive the points home a little better though. Thanks again
