Sample strings with bite...
Hello,
I am looking for a good string samples CD to use with Soft SampleCell on my ProTools Mix system. I want real-sounding strings with bite, to use in Beatles-like songs. I only need solo voices and I'll be using them in mono and recording them directly to my hardrive while triggering. Can anyone recommend something (perhaps even a lite version of a larger set) in the $300 - $400 range? Thank You, -Todd Lerner |

Re: Sample strings with bite...
Todd, a while ago I got a great "mini" set, I think of the Peter Siedlackek orchestra, for sample cell & for relatively little money (100-200$). And I still use it every day (even though I have Giga & every big library out there. 2 great basic articulations: sus strings and spicato strings and they sound BEAUTIFUL (and a damn sight nicer than Garritan or anything else). e-mail me on monday & I'll give you all the details, hoping it's still available.
