S1 not working with PT since updating PT & EUCON to 2021.6

ah ok! it worked a few days ago, until I updated everything today

PS:

it doesn't work with Logic either
There too the "lock to Application" are grayed out!

I just installed EUCON 2021.6, updated firmware on my S1 (Galaxy Tab-A) & Dock (iPad Pro), updated the Control app on both tablets - they didn't connect till I did a Restart EUCON Appliations... in the EuControl menu.

S1 doesn't require a tablet to work with PT. Double check that you've enabled EUCON in Setup > Peripherals > Ethernet, and that you have everything on the same network.

If that doesn't help... more info please?

Uncheck Enable EUCON in Setup > Peripherals... > Ethernet and click OK, then open it again to enable and click OK.

In the EuControl menu (upper right menu bar) select Restart EUCON Applications... and click YES.

P.S. What OS version?

No, that's there for non-EUCON controllers.

ah ok! so I think I did all you said but its still not being seen by PT or logic. only in OS security there is a check for EuControl.app right?

I had to Restart EUCON Applications... after updating EUCON to 2021.6 but after that all worked correctly. This was on macOS 10.15.7 so I switched to my other boot partition with macOS 11.2, updated PT & EuControl, that also worked correctly. Updated macOS to 11.4 and still no trouble.

Similar setup here... S1 & Dock - TP-Link 5-port switch - USB C hub - iMac.

I did have to enable the EuControl app in Security & Privacy > Accessibility to start it. Also had to create a new service and add a USB 10/100/1000 LAN in my Network control panel so please check both of these.

So… I updated my MBP to 11.4 and what do you know, after starting PT and opening a session, the faders from the S1 moved to their respective positions in the arrangement and it all seems to work again!

Now I just have to wait for Amazon to update their Avid Control App.

I just checked on a Fire 7 tablet (not part of my setup) and it showed Avid Control 2021.6 available.
