Sampletank / Amplitube October Info

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to let you know about a couple of things. There are 2 new Sampletank October sounds avaliable for Sampletank Free. Also we have made changes to the Sampletank website so users can search the entire database of sounds for Sampletank plus more new things coming.

We have also updated the Amplitube site and have a presets section. Here you can download presets,listen to mp3 samples, etc. Feel free to share you creations.

just got done listening to the presets (sept) for amplitube...very nice presets...they show off amplitube's capabilities well...

Did you actually play the guitar in the samples on the website?...or did ya leave that to someone else?

SSRJazz: I designed all 20 new patches and played guitar on each of them. It was fun coming up with them and having to play something interesting to show the patches off.

Hey Jason,

This is a little off the topic of this thread, but...

Question: I recently bought the Stand Alone + RTAS version of T-Racks 24... can I use the RTAS plug-ins with Windows XP? The guy at Guitar Center said he didn't know (big surprise there), but he said there would be a card inside that I could send in to get the Win XP version, but I didn't see that card. I think I registered because I created an account at the T-Racks web site in order to download the update.

Please advise if you can,

Hate to be a pest, but I have an 002, and I was hoping to add some more sound options to SampleTank. Can I download and use any of the free sounds (or are they already included in the 002 version? some seem similar), or do I need to upgrade to L or XL?

Gingley,

Look in the email your recieved when you registered and it will have a username, password and link to the user area. Log into your user and and click on option 3. Here you can download special sounds, etc.

One quick thing. If you have ST that comes with the Digi 002 bundle it is locked with the 64 sounds that come with it. It cannot play any other sounds.
