Sluggish UI here at times. Reminds me of the problems they used to have in old versions.

Yes. Honestly, in all my years of using Pro Tools, there is typically one or maybe 2 releases within a version number that works reasonably well, and every other update is a crap fest and I have to roll back to that one reasonably solid version. 2021.6 is definitely on the crap side for me. Which is a bummer because I've been waiting for some of those features. But after a few days of trouble shooting and trying to work with all the beach balls, gui freezing, and graphic issues, I went back to 2020.3.1. It is WAY more snappy, although it isn't as stable as 2021.6, which actually never crashed...it just took a break constantly.

Rock solid here on Catalina as well. I haven't seen a lot of Catalina posts here on the DUC lately...I think its because everything is working?

Rolled back to 2021.3 on my M1 mac-mini. Pretty embarrassing when the unsupported version works far, far better than the supported one.
2021.6.1 in the works, hopefully?

I'm testing 2021.6 and mostly it's working fine. But I'm getting beach balls every now and then. Staying with 2021.3.

No VI's. Just a standard mix session. No problems with other versions if I open the same session in them. Doesn't matter if Hyperthreading is on or off. Others have reported the same issue. Looks like something in the code or new graphics.
