Permanant playhead??

Is there any way to have a playhead that remains visible all the time?

Mine only appears during playback, and i would really prefer it to be constant, so when i stop playback i can see instantly where i have stopped!

That little red line only in the timebar is not much help when editing on lots of tracks.

I seem to remember my PT used to do this, but since updating to the new 22.4 Studio - it vanishes every time playback stops.

Try, Options> Edit Window Scrolling> Continuous

thank you - that works! but i hate the continuous scrolling option!

It would be great to have that marker line present in whatever timeline mode you choose.

on mine its only visible whilst actually playing.

Okay, I see what you mean. With scrolling set to Continuous, that seems to help. Another work around to see the cursor when you stop is to hit spacebar twice(which snaps the screen back to where the cursor is). Is there a pressing need for this, or is it just something you want as a personal thing? Just trying to understand why its important(to you, as it doesn't bother me)
