My 001/PCI card is in the slot next to the graphics adapter; I skipped a slot and then put my SCSI card in the last slot.

What else do you have for PCI cards?

I've got a samplecell and another ATI graphics too.
But I haven't connect a second monitor yet. but everything seems to be alright.
My slot order:
ATI(fabric)>ATI Xclaim>DigiCard>SampleCell
But I've read the only approved GraphicCard is AuroraFuse.

It shouldn't matter, as the PCI slots are essentially all the same. (at least in a Mac they are).

Occasionally though, you'll find a card that doesn't like being in one slot or another. There are sometimes slight timing differences, depending on what lives in the other slots and how far each is electically from the PCI bridge chip.

Digidesign suggest that you place the digi card in first slot (the one under the graphics slot). I think I have become some what of an expert on which PCI slot it should go in. I have discussed this with tech support quite a bit over the past month.

lwilliam,

Kamy has a samplecell card also. I cannot find the slot order in all the digi archives or home page for this config. Anyone know?
