Another 8.0.3 (cs1) thread
Seems like I have to delete prefs and databases at least once a day now. I usually get a lot of hangs when opening a session and will reopen fine after deleting prefs and databases.

Re: Another 8.0.3 (cs1) thread
When are they going to fix this. It's getting bad. I hope they didn't try to save money and lowered their quality standards. I have been using my Record by Propellerhead now until they they fix it.

Re: Another 8.0.3 (cs1) thread
Actually I can't open a session I am currently working on. It seems to be hanging on activation inserts on tracks. The plugins on the first track are Wavearts Trackplug, PT EQ, a disabled AIR EQ and an Active AIR EQ. I am copying the report below.
I was editing the song on my laptop (09' MBP 2.66 Dual using a Mbox2 Mini) yesterday and when I got back to my studio it's hanging on my 09' MacPro 2.93 Quad (002rackBLA). The funny thing about this is I can still open it up on the laptop, which is running the same version OS and PT. Which is how I know what plugins are on it. The session is on a LaCie 500gb Rugged drive, using a FW800 port. UPDATE-- I went on my laptop and removed the plugins and it then got stuck on another track, I went into my laptop and disabled those and it got stuck on another track. I can't believe the time wasted on this so far. I am ready to go back to 7.4 because this is killing me. I have checked the plugin versions, they are all the same versions. Using DIGI plugins on these tracks. Would actually love to have a response from the digi guys on this issue. Re: Another 8.0.3 (cs1) thread
Just a little update here. I went to a backup version of the session from last week and it still hangs on the same problems. I am going to start a new session and import everything into it to see if that will work. d
Digi, please let me know what I can provide you with. |

Re: Another 8.0.3 (cs1) thread
Importing didn't work, same issue. Also, I can open other song sessions on the Mac Pro, which have the same plugins and aux tracks as the song that can't open. Except that I can open all of them on my laptop. *sigh*.

Re: Another 8.0.3 (cs1) thread
Doesn't matter, I reverted to 8.0.3 and it still hangs. My laptop is running 8.0.3cs1 and it opens fine.

Re: Another 8.0.3 (cs1) thread
Perhaps I should have restated that... "Is there anything else I can provide you with?" Hence, I already went though the check list from your link.
Is issue not articulated well enough or is the information above not sufficient? |

Re: Another 8.0.3 (cs1) thread
I think they were asking to get the plugin list with versions. You mentioned that it got stuck on loading some plugins so that is where I would start the troubleshooting. Also are both your MP and MacPro on the same OS version?
